How to Use the Gacha Pity Calculator
This calculator estimates the average number of pulls and spending required to obtain your target item, taking into account the pity (guarantee) system common in gacha games.
A pity system guarantees the item within a set number of pulls. For example, with a 0.6% rate and 90-pull pity, you are guaranteed the item by pull 90 at the latest.
How It Works
With pity n and per-pull probability p, the expected pulls per item = sum of k×p×(1-p)^(k-1) for k=1 to n-1, plus n×(1-p)^(n-1). Multiply by target quantity for multiple items.
Frequently Asked Questions
This calculator assumes pity resets after each guarantee. If your game has a shared counter, adjust your inputs accordingly.
It is a statistical average. Actual costs vary by luck. Only the pity cap is guaranteed by the game.
