How to Use the AVIF to JPG Converter
Select your AVIF file and the tool uses the browser's Canvas API to convert it to JPEG locally — no data is ever sent to a server. Adjust the quality slider (50–100%) to balance file size and image detail before downloading.
What is AVIF?
AVIF (AV1 Image File Format) is a next-generation image format that compresses images 50%+ smaller than JPEG at the same visual quality. It's increasingly used by websites for faster load times. However, many apps, printers, and older systems still require JPEG, which is why conversion is often needed.
Transparency Handling
AVIF supports transparency (alpha channel), but JPEG does not. This tool fills transparent areas with white (#FFFFFF) before converting. If you need transparency preserved, use PNG format instead.
