How to Use the Text Slide Splitter
When preparing a presentation deck or a carousel post, manually counting how many slides a long script needs is tedious. This tool lets you paste your source text and set the allowed characters per slide, then automatically splits the text — without cutting words in half whenever possible — into a clean list of slide-sized chunks.
By default it splits at whitespace, so slides break at word boundaries rather than mid-sentence. If a single token (like a long URL) is longer than the character limit itself, that token is the only exception and will be split mid-word to continue on the next slide.
The right character limit per slide depends on your presentation setting. For a large screen or a short talk, keep it around 150 characters; for a document meant to be read on its own, 300 or more works well. Adjust the limit and quickly build the slide structure that fits your needs.
