How the weekly goal draw works
Plenty of weeks go by without ever deciding what to try. This tool holds 50 goals in five areas, health and routine, learning and notes, people and talking, tidying and space, and hobby and making, and draws one to three of them at the light, medium or stretch level you choose. With the area set to All it takes them from different areas where it can, so the week does not tilt into one corner; pick a single area and the draw stays inside it.
The draw keeps only the goals that match your filters, runs one reverse Fisher-Yates shuffle and then walks the list taking goals whose area has not been used yet. If there are not enough areas left, the result says that an area was used twice. It uses the browser Math.random function, which is not a cryptographically secure random source, so do not use it for an official draw that is legally binding or that involves money. The wording and the level grouping were written by the author as of October 2026.
The health goals carry no numbers, such as minutes of exercise or a step count. The right amount differs from person to person and no published standard is offered here, so the goals describe the action only. If you are managing treatment or a restricted diet, set any numbers with a professional. The tool does not track completion and does not send reminders.

If you pick a single area, every goal comes from it. With All selected the draw prefers different areas and only repeats one when areas run out, and the result says so when that happens.
No. There is no completion tracking and no reminders. The result disappears when the page reloads, so write it down if you need it.
