How to use the assisted conversion share calculator

Run several channels at once and a single conversion usually involves paid search, email, SMS and sometimes a store visit. This calculator takes the assisted conversion counts you already pulled from your analytics and works out each channel's share. It does not estimate or redistribute credit itself.

Assisted conversion counts change completely with the attribution model. Last click hands everything to the final touch, a linear model splits credit evenly across the path, and data-driven models compute weights differently in every platform. Pick the model your numbers came from and the result repeats it back, because mixing figures from two different models in one table makes the shares meaningless.

Share is calculated against the total of the channels you entered, so adding or removing a channel changes every other channel's share. The total not matching your headline conversion count is expected: multi-touch models spread one conversion across several channels. At least two channels are needed for a share split.

Frequently asked questions

The assisted total does not match my actual conversions.

That is expected. Multi-touch models divide or duplicate credit across channels, so the sum can drift from the real conversion count. This calculator reports shares only and does not reconcile the total.

Which attribution model should I use?

There is no single right answer. Last click suits judging the closing touch, while linear or data-driven models surface earlier awareness channels. What matters most is using the same model every period so the trend stays comparable.
