A Pokemon's CP in Pokemon GO is calculated from a formula involving base stats, individual values (IVs), and level. This calculator applies the actual in-game CP formula to find every IV combination that matches your entered CP and HP exactly, then shows the result as a range.
Stamina IV can be solved for exactly using the HP formula, so it always comes back as a single confirmed value. Attack and Defense IVs, however, can have multiple combinations that produce the same CP, so we show the minimum and maximum across every combination that fits your inputs.
You can find base stats on any Pokemon GO database site, and the most accurate way to confirm your level is the in-game Appraise feature. Overall IV% is the sum of Attack, Defense, and Stamina IVs divided by 45.
