Your announcement in, points out

No point table is stored on this page. Copy the maximum points and the record that earns them from your own announcement. For timed events enter seconds and set the direction to lower is better.

Bring the point table yourself and let the page do the conversion

This is a self-check for applicants preparing for a Reserve Officers Training Corps fitness assessment. For each event you enter the name, which direction is better, the maximum points available, the record that earns those maximum points and your own record. The tool returns the points you score per event, the share of the maximum, the points lost, and the totals. Up to five events fit, and leaving an event blank drops it from the calculation.

No point table is built in. As of October 2026 the announcement for your own programme is the only real authority, and figures stored on a page become wrong the moment that announcement changes. Conversion is straight proportional scaling and the formula used is printed with the results. A record better than the maximum-scoring record stops at the maximum rather than overshooting, and only then is the cap flagged.

If your announcement uses banded point tables rather than proportional scaling, these figures will not match it. The tool says nothing about whether you would be selected, and does not store the events or standards of any particular programme, including those of the US Army Fitness Test. Enter timed events in seconds with the direction set to lower is better.

Frequently asked questions

Why do I have to enter the point table myself?

The announcement for your own programme is the real standard and it changes between cycles. Figures hard-coded into a page would be wrong as soon as that happens, so they are left as inputs.

Does this match a banded point table?

No. The conversion is proportional, so an announcement that awards points in discrete bands will produce different numbers.

How do I enter a timed event?

Convert the whole time to seconds and set the direction to lower is better. A 14 minute 30 second run becomes 870.
