Enter the training time you have in a week, the share of it you want to spend on cardio, and how long one cardio and one strength session run. The page returns the weekly minutes for each type, how many whole sessions fit, and the minutes left over when sessions do not divide evenly, so you can see exactly where a weekly plan comes up short.
The maths is plain arithmetic. Available hours become minutes, the share you entered gives cardio minutes, and the remainder becomes strength minutes. Session counts divide each total by one session length and round down, which the labels state. As of October 2026 no authoritative ratio of cardio to strength work is published, so the share is an input rather than a default.
Because of that the page does not propose a ratio based on body type or goal, and it does not compare which type burns more. Set one side to 0% and its session count comes out at zero with the reason printed in the result. How to divide warm-up and main work inside a session is out of scope here; this tool stops at weekly time between the two types.
Frequently Asked Questions
No authoritative ratio is published. This tool recommends none and simply divides the time by the share you enter.
A session cannot be split. The minutes that do not fill a session are reported separately so you can see the gap.
That type gets 0 weekly minutes and 0 sessions, and the result states that no time was allocated to it.
