How to Use the Rental Housing Priority Calculator
Korea's youth purchased rental housing program lets LH and local housing corporations buy existing homes and rent them to young people — students, job seekers, and early-career workers — at below-market rent. To apply, you must own no home, hold total assets of ₩254 million or less, and own a vehicle worth ₩37.08 million or less; exceeding these limits disqualifies you regardless of income.
Enter your monthly income, total assets, vehicle value, and whether your parents also own no home to see whether you meet the asset and vehicle requirements and your expected priority rank (1st-3rd). 1st priority applies when both you and your parents own no home and income is ≤50% of the average; 2nd priority when you own no home and income is ≤100%; 3rd priority when income is ≤150%. Final selection within a rank is decided by scoring or lottery, so check the official LH announcement as well.
Frequently Asked Questions
