How this pass checker works
On some certification exams a part is required to be sat but is kept out of the average, and averaging everything together then gives the wrong verdict. This page takes a part name, a score and an in or out marker on each line, and only the parts marked in are counted toward the average.
The average is the total of the counted parts divided by how many were counted, and it passes at or above the figure entered, so exactly 60.00 against a 60 requirement counts as met. A part fails only when it is strictly below the minimum, so 40 against a 40 minimum is a pass. Whether a part left out of the average is still checked against the minimum is a choice, and the result table spells out which parts went into which check.
Which parts sit outside the average, and what satisfies them instead, differ by exam notice, so the part list and every standard are inputs rather than built-in rules. The page does not evaluate whatever alternative requirement replaces an excluded part, and it does not predict a cutoff or convert scores into a later stage.
Frequently Asked Questions
Write out as the third field on that line. Leaving the field blank or writing in keeps the part in the average.
That is a choice here, because notices differ. Pick whichever matches yours: still checked, or left out of the minimum check too.
No. It judges only the minimums and the average from the scores you entered, and does not assess whatever replaces an excluded part.
