The score you need depends on who is asking
G-TELP Level 2 does not carry one fixed pass mark. Each programme, licence or hiring rule that accepts the test sets its own required score, so the same result can clear one requirement and miss another. This page therefore stores no pass mark. You type in the requirement from the announcement you are reading, list each section with the number of correct answers and the number of questions, and the page builds a converted score and compares it with that requirement.
How the score is worked out
A section score is the correct answers divided by the questions in that section, times 100. Choosing the section average takes the plain mean of those section scores; choosing the overall rate divides all correct answers by all questions. When sections hold different numbers of questions the two values diverge, so the formula that produced the figure is printed alongside it. Every step runs on unrounded values and rounding happens only on display, to two decimal places.
What this page does not do
It holds no official table that turns a raw count into a reported score, it does not tell you what any particular body requires, and it does not judge which uses your result qualifies for. Always take the required score from the original announcement.
Frequently Asked Questions
There is no single pass mark. The score required is set separately by each body that accepts the test, so this page never declares a pass mark of its own and compares your result against the requirement you type in.
Because the sections hold different numbers of questions. Converting each section to a percentage and then averaging gives one question in a short section more weight, while dividing all correct answers by all questions weights every question equally. The two results differ, so the formula used is printed with the score.
Yes. Requirements are usually written as "this score or above", so an exact match counts and the gap is shown as 0 points.
