🇪🇸DELE Spanish Level Pass Checker

Check both DELE group totals against the minimum

DELE groups its four papers into two groups, each with its own minimum. A strong score in one group does not make up for a shortfall in the other. Group minimums can differ by level and session, so replace the defaults with the figures on your score report (defaults as of September 2026). C2 uses a different format, three exams (Pruebas 1 to 3) each graded on its own, so it is not covered here.

How to use the DELE Spanish level pass checker

DELE tests four papers, but the pass decision is made on two groups rather than on each paper alone. Reading and writing form one group, listening and speaking the other, and each group has to reach its minimum. Enter your four paper scores along with the paper maximum and the group minimum, and the checker shows each group total and how far it sits from the minimum.

A group total is simply the sum of its two papers, and the group is met when that total is at or above the minimum. The overall result is a pass only when both groups are met; if either falls short, the checker names the group that did.

There is no compensation between the groups, so the checker deliberately avoids judging on a single combined total. Score structures can vary by level and session, so replace the defaults with the figures from your report. The tool does not forecast pass rates or estimate a future session result.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is one group above the minimum enough to pass?

No. Both groups have to reach the minimum on their own. A very high Group 1 total does not cover a shortfall in Group 2, which is why this checker judges the two groups separately.

What if a group total equals the minimum exactly?

It counts as met. With a 30 pts minimum, a group total of exactly 30 pts clears it and the margin shows as 0 pts.

Why are the paper maximum and the group minimum editable?

Score structures can differ by exam level and session, so the values here are defaults for reference. Typing the numbers from your own score report gives the accurate result.
