A practical score sheet gives every item a point allotment, and whatever the judges take off accumulates as deductions. Running past the time allowed adds a separate penalty on top, which makes the running total awkward to track in your head. This calculator adds the item deductions and the overtime penalty together and shows what is left.
The final score is points allotted minus item deductions minus the overtime penalty, and it never drops below 0. Overtime is the time taken less the time allowed, and with whole-minute rounding even a few seconds over counts as a full minute. Finishing exactly on the limit gives 0 minutes over. A score exactly equal to the pass mark counts as met.
No scoring items or point values are built in. Practical score sheets differ by awarding body, category and sitting, and are not always published, so no standard table exists to rely on. Copy the items and points from the guide or bulletin you are working from. Disqualification rules and judge-by-judge score aggregation are out of scope.
