US Rebar Size vs. Metric
In the US, rebar is designated by a # number equal to the nominal diameter in eighths of an inch. #4 = 1/2" diameter. Metric equivalents (D13, etc.) show the nominal diameter in mm. The unit weights shown follow ASTM A615 standard values.
