How to Use Today's Progress Calculator

Sensing how much of the day is left is one thing — seeing it as a number is another. This calculator automatically reads your device's current time to show what percentage of the day has passed since midnight (00:00), and separately calculates how much time remains until the end-of-day time you set.

Full day progress is calculated against a 24-hour cycle, so at exactly noon it will read 50%. Time until end of day, on the other hand, is calculated against your chosen target time (default 6:00 PM), regardless of when you started work — it simply tells you how long until that target from right now.

While the page stays open, it refreshes automatically every 30 seconds, so you get a near real-time view without needing to reload. Use it to track daily goals, estimate overtime, or just get a feel for how much of your workday is left.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is day progress based on midnight or my end-of-day time?

Both are shown. 'Full day progress (00:00-24:00)' is based on midnight, while 'Time until end of day' is calculated separately using the end time you enter.

What happens if my end-of-day time has already passed?

If the current time is later than the end time you entered, the calculator shows how much time has passed beyond it instead of a countdown.
