📆Quarter Progress Calculator

Calculate how far the current quarter has progressed and days remaining until the next quarter begins

How to Use the Quarter Progress Calculator

When you're managing quarterly goals or closing out financial results, it's easy to lose track of exactly where you stand in the current quarter. This calculator automatically figures out what percentage of the current quarter has elapsed and how many days remain until the next quarter begins.

By default it uses the standard calendar quarters — Jan-Mar (Q1), Apr-Jun (Q2), Jul-Sep (Q3), and Oct-Dec (Q4). Since many companies run on a different fiscal year, you can also switch to a fiscal year starting in April, July, or October to match your organization's actual reporting periods.

The progress percentage divides the number of days since the quarter started by the total number of days in that quarter. If you're past the midpoint but behind on your goals, that's a signal to pick up the pace. Checking the days remaining until the next quarter also helps you plan budget spending or report deadlines ahead of time — useful for anyone tracking quarterly OKRs.
