How to Use the Monthly Goal Achievement Tracker

The projected total is the key metric — if it falls below your target, the required daily pace shows exactly how much you need to do each remaining day to get back on track. Use it for sales targets, fitness goals, reading challenges, or any countable monthly metric.

Frequently Asked Questions

What counts as "on track" vs. "behind"?

The tracker compares your actual completion rate against the expected rate (days elapsed / total days × 100%). If you are within 5 percentage points of the expected rate, you are on track. More than 5 pp ahead = ahead of schedule; more than 5 pp behind = behind.

Can I use this for non-30-day months?

Yes — the total days field is editable. Set it to 28, 29, 30, or 31 to match the current month. The elapsed days field defaults to today's date, but you can adjust it for planning ahead.

What if I've already exceeded my target?

If your current progress equals or exceeds your target, the status shows "Goal achieved" and the required daily pace shows "No more needed." You can still see your projected over-achievement.
