How to Use the SEO Title Score Calculator
A blog or article title is the first thing that decides whether someone clicks through from search results or a social feed. This tool scores a title across three categories. First is character length — titles between about 50 and 60 characters score highest, since that's roughly what search engines display without truncating. Second is target keyword inclusion, checking whether the phrase a searcher would actually type shows up in the title. Third is power words, looking for click-worthy terms like "free," "ultimate," or "guide" that tend to boost click-through rates.
The three categories combine into a score out of 100, and each category's individual result is shown too, so you can see exactly which part needs work. Leaving the keyword field blank still gives you a rough score based on the other two categories.
This score doesn't reproduce any real search engine's actual ranking algorithm — it's a reference metric based on common SEO title-writing guidelines. It's most useful for comparing a few different versions of the same title against each other.
