🤔Would You Rather Combo Generator

One paired question per player

You Might Also Need

This generator takes a player count and a topic, then hands every player a different would-you-rather question in one pass. It does not draw finished question sentences from a list. Each topic carries ten side A options and ten side B options, and a question is built by pairing one from each side, so a single topic already yields one hundred pairings. Player names are never collected; rows are numbered from Player 1 onward.

The pairing count is the number of side A options multiplied by the number of side B options, shown per topic and as a total when all four topics are in play. Assignments are drawn with a reverse Fisher-Yates shuffle, and pressing the button again sets aside the pairings used in the previous round. If what is left runs short, only the shortfall is reused and the result says how many. As of October 2026 the built-in options number eighty across four topics.

The browser random source (Math.random) is not a cryptographically secure generator. Do not use it for a draw that carries legal weight or money. The page does not judge which side is the better pick, does not tally the answers, and does not decide a winner. It is a reference for building a question sheet before a gathering.

Frequently asked questions

Can the same pairing come up again?

Pressing the button again sets aside the pairings from the previous round first. Only when the remaining pairings fall short does it reuse some, and the result line reports how many were reused.

Can I type in player names?

Names are not collected. Rows are numbered from Player 1 onward, so your group decides which number belongs to which person.

How is the pairing count worked out?

For each topic the number of side A options is multiplied by the number of side B options. With all four topics selected, the four results are added into one total.
