How to Use the Study Timer Randomizer
Enter your study subjects one per line, set your total available time, and choose a break length. Click Generate to get a schedule with equal focus blocks per subject in a randomized order. Reshuffling the order each day helps reduce mental fatigue from always studying the same subject first.
How the Schedule Is Calculated
Total breaks are subtracted from the total time, and the remainder is split equally across subjects. For example: 3 subjects, 60 min total, 10 min breaks → focus time = (60 − 20) ÷ 3 = 13 min per subject. The subject order is randomized every time you click Generate.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Time is distributed equally across all subjects. Only the order is randomized.
Pomodoro uses fixed 25-minute blocks. This tool divides your available time evenly across specific subjects and randomizes the study order.
If the calculated focus time per subject drops below 5 minutes, an error message is shown. Reduce subjects or increase total time.
