How the Random Drawing Prompt Generator Works
Choose a detail level, set how many prompts you want, and press the button. Each prompt tells you what to draw, where it is, and how it should look. It is built for the moment you want to draw daily but cannot think of a subject. Type something into the must-include field and it is attached to every prompt in the draw.
Three detail levels
Basic gives a subject and a setting. Standard adds a style. Hard adds a rule on top, such as drawing in one unbroken line. Rules exist to tie your hands on purpose, so on a short day Basic or Standard is the better pick. The lists hold 20 subjects, 16 settings, 12 styles and 10 rules, each shuffled with the Fisher-Yates algorithm and then read in order, so parts never repeat inside one draw.
Using it for practice
Draw three prompts at once and work through one a day, and the time you spend choosing a subject disappears. Drawing the same combination twice in different styles is good practice too, and finishing in ten minutes often teaches more than finishing perfectly. Nothing is saved, so write down the combinations you like.
