What This Bet Amount Draw Does
When a group has to settle on a late fee or a small forfeit, whoever names the number always ends up arguing about it. Set a minimum, a maximum and an increment, press the button, and this tool draws an amount at random from inside that range. You can draw up to ten amounts at once, and drawing more than one also shows the total and the average.
Increments And How The Draw Works
Increments are $1, $5, $10 and $25. Only multiples of the increment that fall inside your range are treated as candidates, one of them is picked with equal probability, and anything below one increment is dropped. A $5 to $50 range in $5 steps, for example, has ten candidates. If no multiple of the increment fits inside the range, a message appears instead, so use a smaller increment or widen the range. Every draw is independent, so amounts can repeat when you draw several.
What This Is For
This is for setting the number on a rule you already agreed to, such as a late fee, a chore buyout or a small party forfeit. It is not a gambling tool, and the maximum is capped at $1,000 for that reason. Before anyone actually pays, make sure everyone involved agreed to the rule and the cap first.
