This generator draws prize numbers out of an entry number range. Enter the first and last entry number, list the winners per tier one line at a time, and the page draws numbers without repeats and hands them out from the top tier down. Add a prefix and a padding width and the numbers come out ready to read, in a form such as A-001.
Numbers are drawn uniformly from the first number through the last, and a number that has already come up is discarded and redrawn so that nothing repeats. The chance for one single number is the winner total divided by the count of numbers in the range. The range holds up to 1,000,000 numbers and the winner total is capped at 500. There is no published standard for how many prize tiers an event should have, and none was confirmed in an authoritative source. Current as of October 2026.
This page does not handle draws from a list of names, issuing entry tickets, or keeping winner contact details. Browser randomness is not a cryptographically secure source, so do not use it for legally binding draws or for any draw where money is at stake. Numbers that look clustered in one part of the range are not by themselves proof of a skewed draw, and they are not proof that this tool is fair either.
Frequently Asked Questions
No. Every number is drawn once from the whole range and then handed out tier by tier, so no number repeats.
Type A- in the prefix box and 3 in the padding box. The prefix and the padding only change how numbers are displayed, never the draw itself.
It is the chance for one single number, that is the winner total divided by how many numbers are in the range. Someone holding several numbers has a different chance.
