This tool points at the next person to present in a class or a meeting. Enter the full roster, list anyone who has already presented, and the draw runs only on the people who are left. You can pick more than one name per round, and the result tracks how many presenters remain and how many rounds that leaves, which helps when you work through a whole roster.
The remaining names are shuffled with a reverse Fisher-Yates pass and taken from the front, so the chance for one remaining person is the number picked divided by the number left. Rounds left is the number of people left divided by the number picked, rounded up. There is no published standard for how presentation order should be set, and none was confirmed in an authoritative source. Current as of October 2026.
This page does not handle building a full presentation order for several teams at once, assigning ranks, or dividing speaking time. The already-presented list is not stored, so you update it yourself each round. Browser randomness is not a cryptographically secure source, so do not use it for legally binding draws or for any draw where money is at stake. One person coming up often is not proof of a skewed draw.
