How to Use the Mafia Role Assigner
No role cards? No problem. Set the total number of players, the number of mafia, and whether to include a detective and doctor. Click "Assign Roles" and each player taps their numbered card privately to reveal their role — no peeking required from the host.
Recommended Role Distribution
A good game balance is roughly 1 mafia for every 4–5 players: 2 mafia for 8 players, 2–3 for 10–12 players. The detective investigates one player per night; the doctor protects one player. Beginners can start without special roles — just mafia vs. citizens.
Private Role Reveal
Pass the device around so each player taps their own number. The role appears and can be tapped again to hide it before the next player looks. This keeps all roles secret without needing physical cards.
