Everyone has wondered what they would have done for a living two hundred years ago, and nobody can name more than three options. Pick what you are drawn to now, press the button, and this tool assigns one past-life job. Twenty-one entries are included, all trades people really worked at before industry took over, from blacksmith and cooper to peddler, herbalist and riverboat pilot.
What The Result Shows
Each result gives the job, its interest group, the kind of place you lived, what the work involved and one line about what stuck with you. Enter a name and a row appears at the top saying whose past life it is; leave it blank and that row does not appear at all. Narrowing the interest draws only from that group, while Anything draws from all twenty-one.
Keep It Light
This is a for-fun draw. There is no way to look up a past life, and this tool only picks one entry at random from the interest you chose. The habit listed at the end is written in as a conversation piece and explains nothing about your personality or your future. Nothing you type is saved, so copy anything you want to keep.
