Describing a community by its signup count usually overstates how lively it is. This calculator returns the share of all members who were active in the window. It is a ratio against a denominator, not a growth rate, and the result label spells out "active members รท total members".
Pick a window of 7, 30, or 90 days; the number of days you chose is printed back into the result label. The same community looks very different on a 7-day basis than on a 90-day basis, so always report the window alongside the rate.
Decide what counts as activity before you measure. Counting posts only versus counting replies and reactions can change the figure several times over. The tool leaves that choice to you, so keep the definition fixed and read the trend instead of a single number.
