How to Use the Weekly Time Budget Designer
Everyone gets the same 168 hours in a week, but how you split them determines how satisfied you feel with your life. This calculator subtracts fixed commitments -- work, commute, and sleep -- from your 168 hours, then shows how to divide the remaining free time across self-development, leisure, and relationships for a balanced week.
Commute time is calculated as a round trip over 5 weekdays, and sleep is converted from your nightly target into a weekly total. By default, remaining free time is split 25% self-development, 40% leisure, and 35% relationships.
If work, commute, and sleep together exceed 168 hours, that's a sign something needs to give. Adjust your inputs based on the error message and try again.
