How is the finale date worked out?
Once a series is running, the two questions that matter are when it ends and how many panels each week demands. Enter the total episodes, the episodes already posted, the episodes per week, the panels per episode and the next upload date, and the page returns the remaining workload, the finale date and a week-by-week schedule.
The arithmetic is simple. Remaining episodes divided by episodes per week, rounded up, gives the weeks left, and the finale date adds that many weeks minus one to the next upload date. The weekly panel load multiplies episodes per week by panels per episode, and the final week in the table holds only the episodes that are actually left.
When two or more episodes go up in the same week, they are treated as landing on the same upload day. Hiatus weeks, outsourcing gaps and holidays are not modeled, so read the result as a straight extension of the cadence you entered. No official source publishes how many panels an episode should hold, which is why that figure is yours to enter.
Frequently Asked Questions
Hiatus weeks are not modeled. Push the finale date back by however many weeks you skip; the table counts consecutive weeks only.
Enter 2 as the episodes per week: the weeks left halve and the weekly panel load doubles. Both episodes are treated as going up in the same week.
No official source publishes one. It varies by platform and by series, so enter the average you actually draw.
