How to Use the Tutorial Skip Efficiency Calculator
Enter the tutorial length, its reward, the time you'd need to self-learn if you skip, and your normal farming rate. The calculator compares the reward value against the farming opportunity cost to recommend do or skip.
Logic: Farming equivalent time = reward ÷ farming rate. If this exceeds the net time cost (tutorial time − self-learning time), the tutorial is the better choice. If skipping saves more time than the reward is worth, skip.
Experienced players with zero self-learning overhead should set self-learning time to 0. For first-time players unfamiliar with the game, self-learning time may be longer than the tutorial itself — making the tutorial always worthwhile.
Frequently Asked Questions
Keep reward and farming rate in the same unit for valid comparison. If rewards include mixed types (gems + gold), convert to a single currency equivalent before entering.
Setting self-learning to zero means skipping has no knowledge cost. The full tutorial time becomes the opportunity cost compared to farming that same amount of time.
