How to Use the Coop Dungeon Efficiency Calculator

Coop dungeons in MMORPGs, MORPGs, and mobile RPGs swing widely in clear time and reward efficiency based on party size. With just two inputs — boss HP and per-player average DPS — this calculator outputs total DPS, clear time, and per-player contribution for parties of 1 to 6.

The formula is Boss HP ÷ (DPS × party size × synergy bonus). Synergy bonuses are +5% for 2 players, +10% for 3, +15% for 4, +18% for 5, and +20% for 6, reflecting buffs, tagging, and movement support. A 5M HP boss with 25K DPS players takes 200 seconds solo but drops to around 43 seconds in a 4-player party.

Per-player efficiency indicates the realized reward after distribution. Larger parties clear faster but split rewards, so weigh reward structure against your time value to pick the optimal party size.
