How to Use the Ramen Calorie Calculator
Instant ramen (Korean-style noodle soup) calories change a lot depending on how many packs you use and which add-ons you toss in. This calculator lets you enter the number of packs and check off egg, cheese, spam/sausage, extra noodles, or rice, then instantly totals up the calories for your whole bowl, broth included.
A single pack of instant noodles with its seasoning packet runs about 500 kcal on average. On top of that, one egg adds roughly 80 kcal, a slice of cheese about 90 kcal, and spam or sausage around 150 kcal. Extra noodles add the biggest jump at about 350 kcal — nearly the same as throwing in a whole second pack. Adding rice for fried rice at the end tacks on about 200 kcal more.
Late-night ramen runs or a loaded bowl piled with extra noodles and eggs can add up fast without you realizing it. Toggle the checkboxes for whatever you actually added to see how today's bowl stacks up.
Most of the broth's calories are already baked into the noodles and seasoning, so finishing the broth doesn't add much on top — though it does mean a lot more sodium, so it's worth leaving some behind. The FAQ below breaks down each topping's calorie impact in more detail.

Most of the broth's calories are already counted in the noodles and seasoning, so finishing it adds little, but it does add a lot of sodium, so it's better to leave some behind.
