Korea's Young Farmer Settlement Grant pays monthly cash to farmers aged 18 to 40 who have been farming independently for 3 years or less, helping them get established early on. The grant is 1,100,000 KRW/month in year 1, 1,000,000 KRW/month in year 2, and 900,000 KRW/month in year 3 — decreasing each year, for a maximum of 36,000,000 KRW total over 3 years. Recipients must use the grant for farming-related purposes and go through an annual usage audit.
