When a written exam can be cleared subject by subject, this sitting's average tells you very little. What matters is which subjects you just banked, which ones are still outstanding, and therefore how many you have to prepare for next time. This tracker combines this sitting's scores with the subjects you already hold and counts them as subjects, not as one average.
Subjects at or above the credit mark go into the banked list, and anything below it goes into the retake list. A score exactly equal to the mark counts as banked. The banked list is merged with the subjects carried over, duplicates are removed, and a subject you sat again but did not clear is pulled back out of the banked list. Leave the total blank and the subjects you entered are used as the total.
How long a banked subject stays valid, and which subjects can be exempted, differ by board and sitting, so this tool does not model either. The prefilled 60, 40 and 60 point marks are common values as of September 2026, so replace them with the figures in your bulletin. The practical stage and eligibility to sit are out of scope.
Frequently Asked Questions
Put the same subject name in this sitting and it is judged on the new score. If it falls below the credit mark it leaves the banked list and moves to the retake list.
That window differs by board and sitting, so this tool does not track it. It only counts subjects, so confirm the validity period in the bulletin.
It keeps the two routes apart: banking subjects one at a time, and clearing everything in one sitting with no subject below the minimum.
