How to use the early graduation requirement checker
Finishing early is rarely just a matter of piling on credits: a minimum GPA usually comes with it, and there is a cap on how much you may take in a term. Enter the credit total and minimum GPA your institution requires, the credits and GPA you have now, the number of terms left and the per-term cap, and this page checks all three conditions together.
Credits short is the requirement minus the credits earned. Credits needed per term is that shortfall divided by the terms left and rounded up. The GPA condition is met when your cumulative GPA is at or above the required figure. A value exactly equal to a requirement counts as met, so 126 of 126 credits reads as 0 credits short and a 4.00 GPA against a 4.00 requirement reads as met.
Credit and GPA requirements and the per-term cap differ by institution and by department, so all of them are values you enter and none are built in. Requirements by category, such as major or general education, are not covered, and application windows, paperwork and review conditions are not calculated. Check those with the registrar.
