How to use the sticker canvas size guide
Matching the canvas size is only half the job for a sticker or emoji set. Artwork that runs to the very edge can collide with a rounded corner or a selection highlight and look clipped, so illustrators normally leave padding on all four sides and draw only inside it. Enter the canvas size, the padding and an export scale, and this page returns the usable safe area, its coordinates and the export dimensions at each scale.
The arithmetic is short: safe width equals canvas width minus twice the padding, the height works the same way, and the coordinate origin is simply the padding value. Padding entered as a percentage is converted to px against the short edge first and then follows the same formula. When the padding would swallow the short edge entirely there is nowhere left to draw, so the calculation stops and says so.
There is deliberately no table of per-platform artwork specs here. Canvas sizes, set counts and file limits are revised regularly, so a stored list would go stale (checked October 2026). Look the requirements up in each platform's own creator guide and type them in. File size caps, animation frame counts and transparency requirements are outside what this tool covers.
Frequently asked questions
No figure is suggested here. Corner treatments and selection highlights differ between platforms, so enter the value from the official creator guide or your own working standard for the safe area to come out right.
It is converted to px against the short edge. Using the long edge would leave an excessive margin on the short side of a non-square canvas. The converted px value is shown in the table.
Canvas sizes, set counts and file limits are revised often, so a written list goes stale quickly. Enter the value you read in the official guide and this page handles the math.
